In the UK in the past around 70% of Commercial Finance has gone directly to banks with around 30% via brokers; in the USA it has been 70% brokers and 30% direct to banks. The UK is now moving towards the US model.
With the Regulator now adding Mortgage and Insurance intermediaries to his scope of influence we are all beginning to operate within our particular skill sets.
